Scott has over 25 years of experience in the electronic component distribution industry, specializing in quality management systems and process development for authorized distributors, independent distributors, and value-added providers. He has spent the last six years at 4 Star Electronics as the Director of Operations where his responsibilities include hands-on management of day-to-day operations and overseeing the company’s Quality Management System and certification program. He has been involved in the implementation and auditing of ISO 9000 systems since 1995 and was instrumental in 4 Star’s attainment of AS9120 and AS9100 Rev C certifications. When not working in the areas of operations and quality, Scott assists the 4 Star sales team with business development for key accounts and leads the company’s trade show efforts.
Scott has degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is currently a member of the IDEA Purchasing Standard Committee and the Government Liaison Committee and has been sitting in on the Marketing and Public Relations conference calls as time permits.
